The last two months...
The last two months in a nutshell..
Ok..so I quit working at TRU and moved back to Mt Pleasant at the end of March/beginning of April. I had a lot of stuff (aka crap) to sort through in my room. Most of it is still spread thoughout the house--mostly the garage. April means taxes, so I did my taxes and decided to spend half of it on a new computer..
The new computer..awesome. I went from a P2 400 to a P4 2.4G, 512MB dimm, ati radeon 8500dv, two new hard drives totalling 200 gigs, and a new case that fits under my desk. I've had my old video card since Jeremy and I each bought one in April of 1998 (I believe) making it 5 years old and not worth a darn. The case..I'd never get rid of the big huge black tower server case, but I currently need a smaller case. The new case is nowhere close to the quality of my old case, but it has a window on the side and lights up :). I currently have both of the computers connected to get all the data off of the old one. I'm moslty done now, but both can compute seti workunits :). I still need to reformat the old one to speed it up a bit..maybe let Kira use it. Letting Kira use it MIGHT get her off of my other one..
Ok, so after the new computer came the need for a job. Luckily one found me. I'm now a carpenter..I'm learning lots of things that I have always wanted to learn. I work for a small/new company called Lowcountry Trim (there's currently 5 of us--2 being the bosses). We do interior trim (baseboard, crown molding, trim around windows/doors, we set doors, stairs....). We work moslty in high-end houses. Currently we are working in Edisto for the SCDNR. It's a really cool building that will have a small museum/aquarium, labs, and offices for the Department of Natural Resources. I'll takes pictures soon and post them..sometime. This building is awesome..
That's enough for now..

All the news that's fit to print
Ok..my website has needed an overhaul for a longtime..I've got the new look, now all I need is the content. There are a couple pages that I have not converted to the new look--but I will in time. Any suggestions are welcome.
The new website at a glance:
My old blog went out with the old website. I could probably merge it into this blog, which I think is actually fairly easy..I just don't feel like it right now. If there is a demand for it, I'll do it.
The gallery program that I am using, thanks to Ben for finding it, is simply awesome. It takes little effort to put pictures online. The best part is that you, the reader and internet surfer can add comments to the pictures (and I hope you do.) This morning, I installed Gallery onto Kira's website.
It took about an hour to move almost 1000 pics to the new format. With this great ease in putting photos online, I'm going to do my best to get more of my pictures online. My only limitation is diskspace..I'm almost at my quota now. (Donations to the website could help with this problem :) )
Please tell me what you would like to see at the 'New' mhader.com!!
I'll try to write an update on my life in the next couple days..

Help!
Ok, so if you've been to my web site in the past, you may have noticed it's changed a bit. I've been having lots of fun with php, a new weblog (movable type), and the introduction of Gallery.
So basically, I need your help because I know that this site is full of bugs. I've found a bunch, but I know there's more. I've mostly tested the site with Mozilla. I know there's a few things that don't look right in IE and Netscape. If you see anything wrong, please let me know! Any suggestions are welcome!
Let me know what you think of the new look!
