Another Blog for you..

Ok..I guess it's time for me to write another entry...

First off, congrats to Lance Armstrong for winning his 5th consecutive Tour de France, only the second person to do that (Miguel Indurain being the first). Hopefully we'll see that record broken next year. He's going to have to watch out for Jan Ullrich though. I can't believe it's been over eleven years since my family and I went and saw Lance in the first First Union Grand Prix (which I doubt still exists-my dad probably knows)..and seven since I saw him at the olympics..almost to the day..

Sunday night I went walking in the marsh (in an undisclosed location) fishing for spot-tailed bass. I went with Addison and David Rupert..and was apparently bad luck. We didn't see any bass..just a mullet and some 'bait fish'. The tide was just not in high enough.

Work is still good. I'm spending most of my time on Sullivan's Island and IOP, which is nice. We've been doing lots of paneling..mostly on ceilings. I enjoy doing that and the finished product looks amazing (if I do say so myself--the homeowners have liked it too :) .) Last week I also helped make a built-in entertainment center. If you're a long time reader of my blog (the old one) you may remember that I want to basically turn a room into a movie theater. This was good experience for that.

My beg of the moment:
I want a kayak..anyone want to give me one? (I'd even accept cash..or check..or money order..or wire transfer..or your credit card number..or paypal..)

I feel as if there were something else that I wanted to say, but I don't know what..oh well..

You can see me (sort of), but can I see you?

You can now see me..or at least some of my bamboo. When it's available, there will be a link under the other tab to see my webcam. It's not too exciting, and it may not always be viewable, but enjoy..

Hopefully I'll soon have a way to bring the mhader.com viewers thousands of higher res pictures, served up on my local server..stay tuned..hopefully that will be running with at least a few pics by the end of the month.

Other news..

I found the missing remote!!

For anyone that's lived with me in the past (and likely a few other people) you may remember the nice VCR that I had that do anything but play tapes because the remote was lost (not by me) years ago. I finally found it in the recliner at my moms house.

Work should be picking up in the next couple weeks. I actually worked 6 days last week to help get some stuff wrapped up. We start a series of houses very soon. Luckily they are all east of the cooper (IOP and SI). I'm not a big fan of the trip to Edisto (about 70 miles of mostly backroads) and Meggett (half way to Edisto).
