How You Doin'?
Ok, I've been lazy and haven't put any pictures online yet. I'm working on it..well not really..because if I was, they'd be up already. I also haven't written much about the trip. Maybe that will come with the pictures.
I'm now armed with a t-shirt and a badge at the Aquarium, so you could call me official I presume. I've logged a little over 30 hours. Today I witnessed the birthing of a venomous snake. There were at least 7 baby snakes.
I'd like to say congrats to SNE and her man on their wedding yesterday. It was a nice ceremony and reception downtown. I also have to thank SNE for dragging me out to the dance floor for the garter toss..which I didn't catch in case you were wondering.
Kira just landed her first job this week..at the movie theatre. I'm hoping she'll be able to hook me up with some free stuff. :)
Work for me is still good. I'm working 6 days a week, mostly in a 200 year old house downtown. It's a neat house, but it's a pain in the butt. There's not a plumb wall or a level floor/ceiling in the house. There's a couple places where it is extremely obvious. Apparently the people that used to lived there had shimmed their furniture to make it all appear and feel level.
I'm only a week or so away from my kayak. Really, I just have to find the one I want locally. The place in town that carries it had it last week, but it had been sold already. I still need to put the rack on my car and build something to store it on.

Kira getting a job, while still in high school!!! What's next? Waiting for the pictures of the trip. And Kira's prom. One more week in the states then back to Italy.
