It's Paid off!!
Well, I paid the final thirteen cents I owed on the car Sunday morning...yay! See below picture for more.

Ok, I just had to make sure that the picture would fit on the front page.
It is done. The car is paid off. The car is in the shop. So my final payment was $0.13 on my car..all because I forgot to pay it off the same day I checked to see how much I owed. In one day, from Saturday morning to Sunday morning, I accrued 13 cents of interest. Monday night it went in to the shop because the window wouldn't stay up and as many people know, the passenger door lock was busted. Now it's finally time to start saving up for the next vehicle. Details to follow..don't you worry about that :)
I hit 50 hours of volunteer work at the Aquarium this month..which means I get a free membership. Very cool. I think that I am actually going to add one or two guest privileges onto it. So if you are in town I'll take you to the SC Aquarium..once I get my membership.
I feel like I should say more, but I am tired..so I am going to bed.

It floats, but it doesn't roll
..at least not yet. Well the kayak was finally introduced to the water Sunday afternoon in Shem Creek. I had a great time. Kira and my mother came with me and enjoyed it as well. I think Kira wants one. On Monday I put it in a pool and tried to roll it. It didn't work too well, likely due to the fact that I don't have a spray skirt yet. I thought I'd save myself the money until the temperature got cooler. It's already extremely hot outside..so the addition of a skirt doesn't help keep you cool. The only problem is that I want to roll :)
Wow..it's been a while since I've posted anything. I'll admit that I liked the picture from the previous post and didn't want to change it. That was my motivation to not update it. The month of May was good. Obviously I got a kayak..so that's awesome.
Also Jonathan came down the last 2 weekends and even brought Susan the second time. It was nice hanging out with them. The first weekend Jonathan came down to the Lowcountry Jeep Club's 4x4 show. It was very cool. I want a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Wanna buy it for me? I've been looking at them for a while..but wasn't able to see one up close until the show (it's new in 2004-hit dealers in April I think). Very nice..it would be good for work. The next weekend Jonathan and Susan showed up on my doorstep..which was a nice little surprise. We went to the Kickin Chicken in Mount P, then headed to the battery downtown and walked for a while.
Internet stuff:
- mhader.com will likely lose the mhader @ mhader.com address due to massive amounts of spam. I'll try to send a message to everyone whose address I have. It will contain the new address which is yet to be determined.
- kirahader.com will be losing older band pictures as the new band season approaches. My webspace is FULL and I don't want to spend another $100 a year to host the pictures. I probably will be a lot more picky about what goes up in the future too.
