I Love Working On Saturday

This is another entry brought to you by the Blackberry. It's lunchtime so I figured I'd write for a bit.

It's amazing the amount of childish games that take place in the workplace. For some reason, glue seems to find it's way onto the bottom of the handle on the saw. When one tries to change the angle, they get a hand full of glue. The chances are that the slide is locked and the power disconnected as well.

In retaliation to the glue on the handle, bottles of glue have mysteriously sprouted wings and flown off of the deck and landed in puddles of mud. No tool or person is safe in this game, so one is constantly on edge keeping an eye on their surroundings.

I was able to rip some pickets for the gate I'm working on. I guess that means I'm going to have to finish that when I get home this evening. With all the rain we had last night the ground will likely still be saturated, so I may not get it installed, but it will be ready. I'm not going to try and hang a 35 lb door while standing in mud.

While on my lunch break I've also been shopping on amazon. I think I'm going to order a finish nailer and a saw in the next couple days. I thought about ordering it on my phone, but it's kind of a pain to navigate their site on this small of a screen.
