RIM Says Nay

I found out today that RIM, the makers of the blackberry, only support bluetooth connections with headsets and a keyboard. This means I can't wirelessly connect/sync my blackberry to/with my computer. I'm not real happy about that. I can't find any information about a hack either. Part of the reason I added the bluetooth to the laptop was so I could sync without having to use the USB cable. Grr...Arggh...

In other news, I didn't really do a darn thing today. I woke up to LOTS of rain, tornado warnings, and the realization that I hadn't completely secured the top of my Jeep last night. I used the SunRider feature yesterday and simply pulled it over the top without latching it down and securing the drip retainers. Fearing a puddle of water and the smell of mildew in the near future, I ran outside into the pouring rain. Luckily no water found the inside of the Jeep. However, I was soaked by the time I got everything secured.

The only other thing that happened was the cleaning out of the hideaway space under the steps. That was no small feat, mind you. It's not that big of an area, but it took several hours and at least five trash bags. We also have several boxes of stuff ready for Goodwill. It's an area that has been cleaned up before but never with the 'Clean Sweep' mentality. Before I think we had the mentality that if we clean it up a wee bit and arrange it differently, we'll have more space. There was stuff that had been hidden away for nearly 15 years. Of course 15 years into the future, we'll probably be able to say that some of that stuff hasn't seen the light of day for 30 years..but it is a lot better.
