Day 002
Wow..two days in a row. You're a lucky crowd, perhaps.
Pet Peeve of the Day: I'm happy that people, especially in this town, are willing to go a bit out of their way to take corrugated cardboard to one of many drop-off locations throughout the area. The normal recycle truck that drives by the house every other week won't take it. I went through the garage and sadly the front porch to gather up and flatten all of the cardboard we've been collecting for the last several months in order to take it to the drop-off location a minute from the house. Upon arrival we found two containers stuffed full with mostly unflattened cardboard boxes. If you are going to take cardboard..please be considerate of others and FLATTEN IT. It takes a couple extra seconds and allows more than two people to put cardboard in the bin. The second place we went wasn't much better but we were able to stuff our flattened cardboard into the bins. I suppose my bigger peeve should be directed at the people who don't recycle at all..
One more day and I can use my credit card again..woohoo!!

You'll have to explain the credit card remark. Is that some kind of sophisticated budget system?

If I wait until tomorrow, I don't have to pay for the stuff until the end of February. So basically it's just a delayed budget system.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to take a bunch of unflattened cardboard somewhere. I would think everyone would flatten it just to make it easier to carry to\from the car.
