Movie Monday
Can somebody say box office bomb? I have enjoyed Milla Jovovich in the Resident Evil movies. Now it seems like she's trying out a new hair style (makes her look like Selma Blair), altering her genetically mutated DNA, and changing her name. (Typecasting?)I think I'd rather see another RE. Which, btw, I will soon. Anyways, the movie Ultraviolet should be hitting theaters the end of next month. I probably shouldn't judge it too harshly by the trailer, but please take a look and tell me what you think. From what I gather, Violet (Jovovich) is infected with a vampiresque disease and must do what she can to protect herself and a young boy from "normal", uninfected humans.
Speaking of the undead, Underworld: Evolution hits theaters this weekend. With the release the studio was nice enough to lower the price of the 2 disc extended cut of the first movie and release it with a bonus preview DVD. The bonus disc is rather worthless, but it was nice to be able to pick up the DVD at a decent price. That and I was able to free up some hard drive space :). I'm not sure why I enjoy movies with zombies, vampires, and other random creatures of the night so much...
