Hopefully my the North Bridge controller doesn't really need that. For those that don't know, it's a [blurry picture of a] heat sink..which helps dissipate the heat from a computer chip. It's been hanging off for a while because the loops that it connected to keep popping off the motherboard (only one of the four appear to still be there). Now it's sitting on my desk and you could probably cook an egg on that chip..
The new hard drive went in much easier than I was anticipating. I was worried that I was going to have to pull out half of the computer to get to the drive bays. It actually took me longer to find the application in windows to partition the drive. The location of the drive bays will be a major priority for my next case. btw, it takes FOREVER and a day to format a 250GB drive..
