I Hope I'm Ready
I'm sure I've forgotten something..but I'm ready to go. Now begins the waiting game to flights. I spent half of the morning figuring out how to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel isn't in the same city I'll be in for the first couple nights. A cab ride would cost well over $100 from what I can figure. So I'm planning to use the public transportation that is severely lacking in this part of the country. Public transportation will put me within a mile of the hotel for probably less than $10. Not that the money is mine in the end, but I can't see paying that much for a taxi when I could ride trains [and buses]. I also don't want to carry around that much cash. Well, I am sure there is something else I need to do now, so I'll catch you on the flip side.

I'll warn you that LA doesn't really seem to understand the idea of public transportation, and their metro system is VERY slow.
