Where Does the Day Go?
Today flew by. I did my aquarium thing. Did the Kicken Chicken thing. Did the sit in front of a book all day thing. Did the...Huh..wait a sec? Michael sat in front of a book all day. This is why I don't pick up books and start reading them in the first place. I accomplished little more than some reading today. Which I suppose isn't all bad, but I had other things I could have accomplished. Oh well, another lazy Sunday.
I should really go to bed because I didn't want to get up this morning. I also didn't let myself take a nap..although I tried real hard. I'm sure I'll end up watching Grey's Anatomy however.
I think that my desk chair, which I've had for 9 years in August, may be approaching it's last leg in life. I noticed yesterday that it would tilt forward. It had not done that in the past, only backwards. I flipped it over to check it out this afternoon and found that one of four screws had fallen out. The two screws in front were fine. The single screw in the back wasn't doing so well. Due to the fourth screw coming out, the 1/8 inch piece of metal the screw was in snapped. I can now only use three screws. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the base of the chair breaks. Maybe I should learn how to weld..
