Ayyyy Scalleywags!
I think Lisa summed up the weekend well, so if you want to know what I did this weekend, head to her blog [link]. I will fill you in on a few other things as well...
On the trip up, something, I'd assume a rock, flew up and hit my 9 month old windshield. What a way to start the weekend. The Jeep had to make it's first pilgrimage to the holy land with a busted up window. The odometer hit the 3,000 mile mark not long after the incident.
I was lucky enough to receive and install my security drawer before leaving so I didn't have to worry about leaving my possessions in the Jeep. I'll post more on the drawer later (including installation pictures). Probably on my Jeep page.
Today is the day to fly your jolly roger and splice the mainbrace while you hopefully stay away from Davy Jones's locker. Yes, it's International Talk Like a Pirate Day [link] ye scurvy dogs!

Congrats, you're now responsible for September 19th. :) I could have sworn that we already had one, though. Sorry to hear about your windshield. At least there's a $0 deductable on windshields. Mine just hit 90,000 as I rolled into the parking space here Friday night. Arrrr... :)
